Accident insurance is designed to help you and your loved ones recover from a traumatic accident without worrying about the financial aftermath. Thus, in the event of death, the benefits paid may enable the family to extend their bereavement leave, pay off accumulated debts or a mortgage balance, for example.

Of course! In the event of death or loss of use of a member, benefits will be paid to you or your family, even if you have coverage with other insurers, such as the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) in the case of a car accident. 

In addition, you may be eligible for reimbursement of certain expenses not covered (or only partially covered) by your group insurance.   

Like all insurance policies, Accident Insurance distributed by CAA-Quebec includes exclusions, particularly for means of transportation deemed more at risk. Please refer to the policies to learn more about these exclusions.
