The latest season of our podcast Sans détour is all about insurance!

Published on March 9, 2022

Does it cost more to insure an electric vehicle? Is the travel insurance I get with my credit card enough? I rent out my condo on Airbnb. Am I insured? These are just a few of the questions we’re answering in the new season of CAA-Quebec’s French-language podcast, Sans détour.

At the mic are host Andrée-Ann Déry, spokesperson for CAA-Quebec, and none other than Suzanne Michaud, our vice-president of insurance. They have taken up the challenge of explaining insurance concepts in a simple and accessible way, in just a few minutes per episode.

“I love doing this kind of project. It’s a great opportunity to show people how many different ways they can protect themselves. You don’t want to go overboard and be overinsured, but it’s important to have the right coverage. I like to think I’m helping people make sense of their insurance.” - Suzanne Michaud, Vice President, Insurance

Their objective is simple: To explain insurance as clearly as possible so that you can make the right choices and protect yourself on the road, during your travels, and at home. In short, they cover everything you need to know and give you the straight goods on insurance!

And for skeptics who assume a podcast on insurance must be beige and boring, Andrée-Ann Déry has a message: “Absolutely not, and that’s a promise! It’s impossible to get bored when Suzanne is sharing her insights on matters that affect our daily lives and current realities. We had a lot of fun recording these, and I think you can hear it.”
