Battery Service
Do you live in Montréal, Québec or another urban centre? We test your battery preventively at home, at work, or even on the roadside. If necessary, we can also change it on the spot. This benefit is in addition to battery boosting, available anywhere in the province.
How does it work?
Battery Service is a specialized team from our Roadside Assistance network. Aboard their mobile unit, our Battery Service patrollers drive to where your vehicle is. They can do 3 things for you: boost, check, and replace your battery. You don’t even need to leave your home or workplace!

If you don’t drive much
- Use a battery charger.
- The first time you start the car each day, let the engine run for a few minutes before driving off.
- Have your battery checked twice a year and charge it as needed.
During cold weather
- Plug in the block heater.
- Drive for at least 20 minutes after your vehicle’s first start-up of the day.
